Re: EASI Go Prod AMS & Enterprise Shared Services Updates – June 1 to September 30, 2026
Hi everyone,
Enterprise Applications & Solutions Integration (EASI) would like to update you on the latest major production releases and updates for the University of Toronto’s Administrative Management Systems (AMS) and Enterprise Shared Services.
The following are major changes from June 1 to September 30, 2026:
AMS/SAP Technical Platform
SAP System Maintenance (August 22)
Scheduled SAP maintenance and security patches were successfully applied on Saturday, August 22. These updates help ensure our SAP services continue to operate reliably and efficiently while strengthening the overall security of our systems.
Human Resources Information System
SuccessFactors Reporting Migration (June 2026)
SuccessFactors, U of T’s platform for recruitment, learning and performance management, moved to a new, modern reporting framework. With legacy reporting reaching end of life, a new framework called Story Reports has been enabled as the new reporting solution. Existing legacy reports have been rebuilt, tested and transitioned to the new framework. Story Reports provides users with a more flexible and interactive reporting experience, including enhanced data visualizations, dynamic filtering and drill-down capabilities, and the ability to bring together live data from across SuccessFactors.
A Fresh New Look for UTime (July 2026)
UTime, U of T’s time and attendance solution, has a fresh new experience! Users can now explore the redesigned interface and switch between the new and classic views at any time. With simpler navigation, personalized homepages, a centralized inbox and fewer clicks for everyday tasks, the new experience is designed to make work faster, easier and more intuitive. The refreshed experience will become the standard for all users in November 2026.
Financial Information System
New Material Group Codes (August 2026)
Effective August 25, the list of Material Group codes in the Financial Information System (FIS) has been updated to align with standardized codes adopted across Ontario universities. This change will improve comparative reporting, support the identification of joint procurement opportunities and enhance the quality of data provided to the government.
My Research
EHS SPROUT Phase 2 Release (July 2026)
The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) SPROUT Phase 2 release was successfully launched and includes the management of radiation, lasers and X-ray services. Permits related to radioactive materials and devices, irradiators, industrial radiography, lasers and X-ray machines were transitioned from EHSA Web to EHS SPROUT. This release also included the implementation of integrations between radiation permits and AMS, streamlining the exchange of data between the two systems, reducing manual effort and improving the accuracy and timeliness of permit-related information.
Enterprise Shared Services
Shared Mailbox Attestation Project (Summer 2026)
The Enterprise Shared Services team completed the university’s first review and attestation of shared mailboxes. The team connected with more than 60 local IT desks to attest on 8,240 shared mailboxes and identify inactive accounts for closure. On September 22, the team closed 1,462 mailboxes that were no longer needed – representing nearly 15 per cent of all shared mailboxes at the university. The team is generating summary statistics and data visualizations to help units understand the scale of shared mailboxes they own, and to help improve the attestation process so it can become a biannual operational task. Closing inactive mailboxes will strengthen U of T’s security posture, reduce its storage footprint and streamline the email directory, enhancing operational efficiency and resource allocation.
Enterprise Service Centre (ServiceNow) Australia Upgrade (July 23)
As part of ongoing maintenance of the Enterprise Service Centre, the team upgraded to the Australia release. The upgrade delivers platform enhancements, performance and stability improvements and the latest security updates to help maintain a secure and reliable environment. The update also introduces several user interface enhancements to make managing and tracking tickets easier.
