Hi everyone,
Enterprise Applications & Solutions Integration (EASI) would like to update you on the latest major production releases and updates for U of T’s Administrative Management Systems (AMS) and Enterprise Shared Services.
The following are major changes from March 1 to May 31, 2026:
AMS/SAP Technical Platform
Fiscal Year-End Closure 2026 (May 1)
Multiple teams from EASI and Financial Services worked together to ensure the 2026 Fiscal Year-End event was successful. Throughout the year, the teams worked to optimize system efficiencies and improve availability. As a result, processing times decreased and Fiori Launchpad Reporting enabled users to continue business operations during the fiscal year-end closure period.
Human Resources Information System
TRACS Successfully Migrated to Azure (March 11)
On March 11, the institutional TA Recruitment & Appointment Coordination System (TRACS) was successfully migrated to EASI’s Microsoft Azure environment, enhancing platform reliability, scalability and security. This modernization positions TRACS to better support evolving operational needs while improving system resilience and long-term sustainability.
SuccessFactors 2026 H1 Update (May 15)
As part of our ongoing maintenance of SuccessFactors services, the 2026 H1 update was applied on May 15. Learners can now access a redesigned interface from the Learning homepage to easily view program information, curriculum details and progress status. In addition, Performance & Goals forms have been enhanced and upgraded to the latest version, providing a more streamlined and modern user experience.
My Research
SSHRC Institutional Grants (SIG) Report Refinements (April 1)
On April 1, enhancements to the SIG Award Completion Report were successfully launched, improving clarity, data quality and operational reliability. Updates included a new SSHRC Activity section, strengthened validations across key sections (Personnel and Outcomes) and improved picklist functionality. Additionally, expanded Excel export capabilities now include new data fields and reporting details, supporting more accurate and efficient analysis for stakeholders.
Enterprise Shared Services
HR Service Centre Enhancements (May 4)
On May 4, the Enterprise Service Centre team completed a major enhancement initiative to modernize and streamline the university’s internal HR self-service experience for faculty members, librarians and staff. The upgraded HR Service Centre introduced a personalized homepage with quick access to HR services, improved navigation to information articles and forms, centralized access to common HR applications and platforms and integrated support through the HR ticketing system. The release also delivered enhanced visibility for tasks, requests and surveys through the “My Active Items” area, along with guided tours to support new users. These improvements created a more intuitive, integrated and user-friendly HR experience, improving accessibility to HR resources and support services across the university.
Sincerely,
Enterprise Applications & Solutions Integration (EASI)
