As communicated on November 25, 2025, support for Microsoft Office LTSC 2021 (Long-Term Servicing Channel) will end on October 13, 2026.

What is changing

• • Office LTSC 2021 support ends October 13, 2026.
  • After this date, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, bug fixes or technical support.

Action required

• • Review devices using Office LTSC 2021.
  • Plan to upgrade before October 13, 2026. Options include:
    • Microsoft 365 Apps.
    • Office LTSC 2024 for devices that require an on-premises version of Office.

Timeline

• • October 13, 2026: End of support for Office LTSC 2021.
