Re: Reminder: Save your older Microsoft Whiteboards by August 22
Dear colleagues,
Following our communication on October 7, 2025, Microsoft is completing its move of legacy Microsoft Whiteboards to OneDrive. Legacy whiteboards that are not moved will be permanently deleted after September 5, 2026, and cannot be recovered.
Action required
Before August 22, 2026:
If you see a migration message when you open Whiteboard:

- Open Whiteboard in Microsoft Teams on your computer or in a web browser.

- Follow the prompts and confirm the move is complete by August 22, 2026.

- If a Whiteboard cannot be moved, export anything important before September 5, 2026.
If you do not see a migration message, no action is required.
The standalone Whiteboard apps will retire on September 14, 2026. After that, use Whiteboard in Teams or on the web.
