Faculty of Arts & Science Peak Enrolment
Friday, July 25 will be a very heavy enrolment day for students in ACORN, and we expect higher-than-normal system resource usage for most of the morning.
If students contact you about slow responses, please advise them that it is a high-volume day and response times may be slower than normal. They should only press the Enrol button once and should avoid repeatedly signing in and out of the system. Non-enrolment functions will be restricted. Students can visit ITS System Status for system updates.
As a ROSI / ROSI Express / Degree Explorer user, please avoid running any ROSI-related processes that might place any additional burden on the system between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday, July 25.
Processes to avoid include:
- ROSI downloads
- ROSI batch jobs
- ROSI admissions correspondence batch printing
- ROSI Express reports
- Degree Explorer reports and program assessments
- Student Records Web Services (SRWS) API
- RXP REST API
ROSI-REPLICA on MI will remain accessible during this time for queries and reports.
On this heavy enrolment day, students will be restricted from accessing some ACORN functions. After 1 p.m. on Friday, restrictions on the systems will be lifted.
