To all ROSI / ROSI Express / Degree Explorer Users:

Course enrolment for 2026-27 will be wrapping up for larger divisions this week, with Friday, July 24 being the heaviest enrolment day in ACORN. On this day, we expect higher-than-normal system resource usage from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., which will impact response times and page loading in ACORN.

If students contact you about slow responses, please advise them that it is a high-volume day and response times may be slower than normal. They should only press the Enrol button once and should avoid repeatedly signing in and out of the system. Non-enrolment related functions will be restricted in ACORN, and access will be restored after peak enrolment times. Students can visit ITS System Status site for system updates.

As a staff member, please do not run any ROSI-related processes that will place any additional burden on the system on the days and times noted below, especially between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Friday, July 24.

Processes to avoid include:

• ROSI Change of POSt (ChOPs)
• ROSI downloads and batch jobs
• ROSI reports (including invoice and academic history)
• ROSI admissions correspondence batch printing
• ROSI Express reports
• Degree Explorer batch reports (will be disabled during peak times)
• Degree Explorer degree, program, and course assessments
• Student Records Web Services (SRWS) API
• RXP REST API

ROSI-REPLICA on MI will remain accessible during this time for queries and reports.

Enrolment days scheduled this week:

• Wednesday, July 22, 7:45 – 11:00 a.m.
• Thursday, July 23, 7:45 – 9:00 a.m.
• Friday, July 24, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
