Office apps for Android will no longer be supported on Chromebooks

As of November 1, 2021, Office apps for Android (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Union, OneNote and Outlook) on Chromebooks will no longer be available in the Google Play store. Users will be able to access Microsoft 365 from the web.

Note: This change does not affect Android devices: Office apps for Android mobile remain supported.
