Re: Scheduled LISTSERV Upgrade Service Interruption for June 11–12
Dear colleagues,
Please be advised that the LISTSERV service will undergo a scheduled outage to migrate the LISTSERV server from AlmaLinux OS to Windows Server 2022. At the same time, the LISTSERV application will be upgraded from version 16.0 to 17.5. This change is necessary to streamline system maintenance and ensure the secure operation of the LISTSERV service.
Service outage window:
Start time: June 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
End time: June 12, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
During this period, all LISTSERV functions will be unavailable. Please note that users will not be able to send or receive messages via the LISTSERV service, nor will they be able to access LISTSERV administrative functions. Senders are encouraged to send any urgent LISTSERV messages either before the outage window or after it.
Once the upgrade is completed, there will be no material change to the end user experience or LISTSERV administrative functions except for the list creation process and the LISTSERV web interface. Refer to these knowledge base articles for changes to list creation and the new web interface:
