SharePoint Best Practices

In this session, we explored the scope of SharePoint and its role within Microsoft 365, comparing it with Teams and OneDrive to clarify when SharePoint is the best choice for collaboration and document management. We covered how to work effectively in a document library, manage sharing and permissions including external sharing, using search, sort, and filter tools, and leverage the SharePoint Level 4 site template.

The session concluded with a walkthrough of the University of Toronto’s SharePoint Support site, highlighting available resources for further assistance.
