The goal of the Next Generation Student Information Services Program (NGSIS) is to create and deploy technological solutions that help students fully engage in rewarding learning experiences and achieve academic and personal success, and that help faculty and staff provide a rich and supportive educational environment.

Executive Sponsor Committee

The Executive Sponsor Committee meets as necessary to approve high-level strategy and budget submissions for the NGSIS Program as well as to ensure that the program’s goals are aligned with current institutional priorities.

NGSIS Advisory Council

The NGSIS Advisory Council meets three times a year to assist the NGSIS Executive Sponsors in identifying opportunities for investment, as well as to provide general oversight of associated working groups, committees, and communication plans for the Student Systems. The goal of this council is to promote and champion the NGSIS systems to advance the goals of the University; to consult and communicate with respective constituencies regarding NGSIS priorities; to review and refine priorities, expectations, and success indicators for the NGSIS program; to identify and approve working groups in order to address policy and process improvements; to receive and provide feedback to associated working groups and standing committees; and to approve high-level strategy and budget submissions for the NGSIS program.
