Re: Request for ROSI Users to Transition to ECOPRINT – PDF Printing

Dear ROSI Users,

Enterprise Applications & Solutions Integration (EASI) is working on changes to the infrastructure that currently manages physical printing from ROSI and AMS systems. Several years ago, we implemented “ECOPRINT” to allow some ROSI users to create PDF files instead of printing to paper. In 2018, we made that option available to all users via the ECOPRINT folder in ROSI FILES. We are now completing that migration and we ask ROSI users to send all their print requests to ECOPRINT, as we will be defaulting to this option in early 2023.

As a reminder, to use ECOPRINT, enter ECOPRINT instead of a printer address when you print a report or correspondence from ROSI. To open, save, or print the output, navigate to ROSI Files and open the folder with your ROSI ID then open the ECOPRINT folder. For details, go to the Getting Started page on the Student Information Systems SharePoint site.

Join an upcoming Connect+Learn session to learn about what steps you would take to print a ROSI report to PDF and how to retrieve it in ROSI Files.

Documents in ROSI Files are automatically purged after 30 days. Files that need to be retained should be moved to a secure location (e.g., locked filing cabinet if printed, secure departmental server or SharePoint if retained in electronic form).

Please stay tuned for more details as we approach early 2023.

Sincerely,
Student Information Systems
